2024 Ford F-150 in spy images reveals small changes to the front end

Posted on

Ford works on the mid-cycle update for the F-150 and the Motor1 portal managed to photograph the black prototype in a double cabin format. The camouflage still hides the front and rear area, but the spy images show some details.

Starting with what looks like a sporty appearance package. You have to take into account the side steps and the sliding rear window, aspects that were not present in the first sighting.

The van rides on different wheels and its bumper is body color. That matches a sport package, but it could just as well be an all-black test mule.

In front are the headlights that will be similar to the current model. It features a dual-lamp setup with amber turn signals in between, though changes to C-shaped housings are a possibility.

The grill could be larger, reaching further into the bumper. The details of this area are perfectly hidden.

The driver used the brakes while the machine was photographed, which allowed the new forward-curving vertical line taillight design. This is a different look than the current model.

According to Motor1, there will be a multifunction tailgate that is hidden under that camouflage.

For now there is no information on the powertrain, but being an update it is likely that everything will stay the same. Something similar would happen with the interior, although a larger screen is not ruled out.

The Ford F-150 is estimated to debut in 2023 and will go on sale as a 2024 model.
