The second generation of Mercedes-AMG GT 2024 is getting closer to its revelation, so they let you see the new spy pictures of the camouflaged test car with additional aerodynamic components.

This particular model is expected to be sold in limited numbers during its first year of production.

denominated Edition 1, Mercedes will probably add a fixed rear spoiler, as well as a more pronounced splitter with additional moves to the front bumper, plus sill extensions painted black and a rear diffuser.

The prototype of the images boasts a blue color, which contrasts with brake calipers painted gold behind the BBS-style wheels, thus suggesting an upgraded braking system. This exterior is available on the SL roadster.

The interior features a 2+2 arrangement with a digital cockpit that integrates 12.3” digital instrumentation and an 11.9” infotainment system. The upholstery of Edition 1 will be made of Alcantara and part of carbon parts.

The charging point hints that it has a ice engine and not one of the E Performance-badged PHEVs that will include the range. Quad trapezoidal exhaust pipes anticipate the more powerful 63 trim. AMG’s 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 offers 577 HP and 590 lb-ft of torque in the SL 63 S, managed by a nine-speed transmission and the 4MATIC+ AWD.

The debut of the Mercedes-AMG GT is expected in late 2022 or early 2023, so within a few months.
