Carlos Sainz buys his first car after driving a free VW Golf for 9 years

F1 driver, Carlos Sainz spent the last 9 years in the paddock of the Grand Circus, but it is now that he has finally bought his first car, a very special one.

During his F1 career, the Spaniard has driven a VW Golf given to him by his parents when he was 18 years old. Now, as a Ferrari driver, he decided to make a special request for a 812 Competition.

The pilot did not settle for a 812 Competition old, Instead, through Ferrari’s Tailor Made program, he configured the vehicle to his dream specifications.

This supercar is bathed in a satin silver hue, as Sainz notes that he is drawn to dark colours. It also has carbon fiber on the hood and is adorned with some red details. The red accents continue on the front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser and rear air vents. It rides on a striking set of black wheels with red brake calipers.

Sainz said the cabin of his 812 Competizione was special, perhaps because of its bucket seats upholstered in gray and red Alcantara. The carpets also have red, but in the “55”, his number of races.
