The unexpected death of the Mexican pilot Federico “Fico” Gutierrez, when he was traveling to Valle de Bravo for a few days off, he caused a commotion in the motoring world. For the most part, the words are of encouragement for the relatives and close friends of the 17-year-old.
The ARCA Menards Series team, Renee Jones Racing, where Fico had a step he sent his condolences.

“Fico was not just a fierce competitor, he was also a friend and will always be a member of our family, he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and also with Max during his recovery and his grieving process,” the statement read.

Another who had words for his family was the NASCAR driver Ruben Rovelo through an Instagram story. “Rest in peace fico”says the post.
