Ever had something on your windshield, flipped your wiper, and you just got a dirty smudge that made looking out the window even more difficult? The new high-performance wiper blades from Jeep Performance Parts aim to address that problem, especially for people who go off-road a lot. They are now available for the 2018 model year and the newer Wrangler and Gladiator for $140.
For better cleaning of dirt, these wipers have 12 laser cut holes on each blade. Washer fluid comes out of the opening as the blade moves. Jeep claims this design removes dirt and grime in the first step.

Installation of these parts requires deactivating the windshield washer nozzles on the Wrangler or Gladiator. According to Jeep, these wipers use less washer fluid than spraying them directly on the windows. The video above shows them at work.
“Our new and innovative JPP performance wiper blades quickly restore visibility while tackling the toughest trails by keeping the washer fluid in place – on the glass,” said Mark Bosanac, Mopar senior vice president of North America for service, parts and customer service. .
For the 2023 model year, Jeep has a small tweak to the Wrangler. There are two new colors available. There is Reign, which is a purple color like wine. Earl is a light gray hue, and the name seems to be a pun on Earl Gray tea.
The Wrangler and Gladiator 2023 are also available for a limited time as the Freedom Edition. They come standard with LED headlights and fog lamps, rock rails, and a steel front bumper that can support a winch. Styling tweaks include body color fender flares, black trim bits, an Oscar Mike badge, and an American flag sticker. Inside, there are leather seats with black stitching.
The Freedom Edition adds $3,295 to the Wrangler or Gladiator in the Sport S trim. The Jeep makes a $250 donation to military-themed charities for every item sold. Shipments begin in early November.
