The theft of a motorcycle in the commune of La Florida, originated a police operation that ended with a 16-year-old boy without life, when an official of the Investigative Police (PDI)shoots.

At 02:00 hours, a motorcyclist was the victim of a trap by a group of anti-socials who were traveling in a car, at the intersection of Trinidad with El Pelícano.
After the robbery, one of the criminals was driving the motorcycle and the rest continued inside the car. a detective from the POI, who was also driving a motorcycle at the time, witnessed the theft of the unit, initiating a pursuit of the criminals.
After firing several shots, one of the thieves, a 16-year-old boy, received an impact on the head that ended his life.
The injured criminal was transferred to the Dávila Vespucio Clinic, where the doctors confirmed his death, the rest of the thieves managed to escape.
The case is under investigation by the PDI Homicide Squad, managing to recover the stolen unit.
