Mexico: Helicopter that collapsed in Aguascalientes would have been shot by subjects on a motorcycle, according to witnesses

A helicopter collapsed this Thursday, November 17 in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Five people died in the tragic event, including the State Secretary of Public Security.

New information indicates that prior to the accident of the machine, it was attacked by individuals on motorcycles with long weapons, This is what witnesses to the event say.

The alleged attack on the helicopter began in the community of San Antonio de los Horcones, where men who moved in until seven motorcycles they began to chase the aircraft and shoot at it.

After realizing that the shots hit the propellers, the attackers targeted to the municipality Jesus Maria.


However, this information has not been confirmed. In fact, the governor of Aguascalientes stated that it was an accident at a press conference.

The deceased were identified as Porfirio Sánchez Mendoza, State Secretary for Security, Porfirio Sánchez Mendoza, pilot, Olegario Andrade, captain, Víctor Manuel Sánchez, Juan Humberto Rincón and Alejandro Serafín Guerrero, gunners.
