This is how they assemble the Fisker Ocean One EV (+Video)

The electric SUV FiskerOcean recently went into production at the manufacturing plant Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria.

Initially, only 300 units will be assembled by the first quarter of 2023, although there will then be a rapid increase for the second quarter of 2023 to 8,000 cars, then 15,000 in the third trimester. The goal is to manufacture 42,400 vehicles by the end of next year.

Production begins with editing Fisker Ocean One, which starts at $68,999 in the United States. This model is limited to only 5,000 units, all of them despite requiring a deposit of $5,000 per reservation.


Thanks to a new video published on YouTube, you can see how the assembly process of the limited edition model is.

The clip begins with the robots assembling the chassis and the body of the vehicle, a phase that requires lots of welding and bolting. The battery pack is already arranged on the floor of the vehicle.

After joining all the parts of the chassis and bodywork, the road to the paint shop begins, with stops at various stations to dust off,clean and prepare the painting process.

After a long process of priming, painting and finishing, the body is dried and the model continues with the installation of the solar roof, the glass panels, the interior and the rest of the exterior elements.

It is important to mention that much of the manufacturing is done by people in the old fashioned way. To finish the vehicle, it is filled with liquids, they are tightened, the pressure of the tires is adjusted and Fisker Ocean One to go to tests
