The winter testing season has started and many manufacturers are currently in northern Europe to evaluate your next products in winter conditions. This testing procedure is very important for new electric vehicles, as they need extra attention due to the nature of their power source. Now, Audi carry the A6 E-tron 2024 to Scandinavia and spy images they capture him in full body camouflage, but there are more interesting details.

This prototype features production lights on all four corners. The electric vehicle from Ingolstadt will be equipped with two rows of lights at the front following a trend that continues to be popular in the automotive industry. So it can be said that the top row will act as daytime running lights and side signals, while the bottom row will accommodate the main light. Also, a closed grille sits between the groups and there is a small trapezoidal grille in the lower section of the bumper.
The side profile of the A6 E-tron reminds the Tesla Model 3, although the German EV will be a bit bigger. At the rear, the lights feature a design with individual LED elements on both the fenders and the boot lid. The turn signal could be animated, but cannot be confirmed at this time. In general, this prototype resembles the concept A6 E-tron.
Built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, the electric may share some components with the next Porsche Macan that it will arrive as an EV and will be supported by the same platform. Not much is known about the propulsion system of the A6, but the concept had a dual motor system delivering 470 Hp (350 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm). The concept car was capable of reaching 62 mph (100 km/h) from standstill in less than 4.0 seconds.
Nonetheless, prospective EV buyers will be more interested in the range of the A6 E-tron and the concept had a lot going for it. With a floor-mounted 100 kWh battery, it had an estimated range of over 700 km (435 mi) on the WLTP cycle. Fast charging up to 270 kW that provided enough power for another 300 km (186 miles) in about 10 minutes. If the specifications of the production version are similar to those of the concept, the A6 Etron it will be a serious competitor in the premium segment.
