A truck driven by Alain Hernandez Rodriguez42 years old, resident of West Palm Beach, entered the highway and after losing control of the unit overturned.

The driver lost his life instantly. A passenger in the truck, identified as Jose Armando Valdez, 23-year-old resident of Miami, Florida, suffered serious injuries and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital CHI Mercy in Council Bluffs.

Authorities reported that the men were not wearing their seatbelts at the time of the incident.

After the fatal accident, his relatives started a campaign on the platform GoFundMe in order to raise the necessary economic means to be able to cover the funeral expenses. The publication asks for $10,000, of which almost all of it has been raised.

His wife and son are in Guyana, waiting to be interviewed at the US Embassy, ​​to obtain a visa that allows them access to the country.
