Uber Eats begins deliveries with its little robot in Miami

This Thursday uber announced the alliance with the California technology company Cartken so that autonomous robots of the latter deliver orders to customers of Uber Eats.


Service goes live in the Dadeland area with plans to expand to the rest of the miami dade county, other cities and universities.

The robots offer their services to the University of Arizona, various parts of California, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany and Japan.

By opting for autonomous robots, customers they will not have to pay an additional charge. The notification about the arrival of the robot with its delivery will be sent as soon as it arrives at the indicated location.

It is worth mentioning that for the storage compartment to be unlocked, customers must use their mobile devices.

Noah Zych, an Uber executive, commented that food delivery in Miami will be a “thriving Uber Eats marketplace.”

For his part, Christian Bersch, CEO of Cartken, said that the alliance with Uber will provide consumers with an ecological service.
