Luis Miguel Lopez Andres, better known as “Luismi”, was a 23-year-old soccer player who played for CD Fuentes de Ebro in Zaragoza, Spain. According to what was reported, the accident happened around 11:00 p.m. at night, on kilometer 214 of the N-232, near the Saica company, when the car in which Luismi was traveling with his partner Pablo Soláns, was hit head-on by another vehicle. Which after the pertinent tests, was determined as positive in breathalyzer.
According to some media, behind the car was the assistant coach of the CD Fuentes de Ebro team, who, after noticing the fact, approached the scene of the accident, helping with the resuscitation work of the young man, to no avail.
As a result of this tragedy, CD Fuentes has requested to postpone their match this Sunday where they would face Atlético Teruel at home.
