A volunteer firefighter of the commune of Cañete, BíoBío Region in Chilidenounced carabinieri allegedly for having used and then crashed his car, which had been confiscated in the pen.

The event would have taken place around 11:00 p.m. on April 10 of this year. Yerko Carillo, a Cañete firefighter, received a call for an emergency in the commune. These damages were valued at no less than 7 million pesos in a car that theoretically had been left in police custody and should not be used by third parties.

The Radio maintained contact with Carabineros de Chile to obtain information regarding the case, where they indicate that “indeed there is a complaint in this regard, which was accepted, notifying the Local Police Court and, in parallel, an investigative process was initiated still in process in order to establish responsibilities”.
