The Ferrari SF90 is one of the fastest production cars currently on the market. The Bugatti Chiron is one of the most powerful. And the LaFerrari is a very rare exotic that needs no introduction. Seeing these three in one place was quite special, but seeing them racing? It was a very special treat.
And that’s what we got from this video DragTimes. The action takes place in a private pull strip, and to make sure you fully understand the situation, the at least the powerful car here has 950 horsepower. That will be the LaFerrari, using a hybrid powertrain consisting of a 6.3-liter V12 engine, a single electric motor, and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission to send all that power to the rear wheels.
The main competition for this video is also Ferrari, specifically the SF90 Stradale. It’s also a hybrid, but as you know, it has three electric motors that work with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8. Power is up slightly from the LaFerrari at 986 hp, and is sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. And yes, there’s also a 1,500-hp Bugatti Chiron that appears at the end of the video.

Most of the action, however, is Ferrari-versus-Ferrari. From a standstill, the LaFerrari stood no chance against the all-wheel-drive SF90. It was interesting to take an early lead and stay there, but losing at LaFerrari is still better than winning at anything else. The remaining races all started with simple laps, and that’s when the LaFerrari shined. It won two battles in melee action, with the SF90 claiming victory in the fourth round. Tied with two wins each, a fifth throw race was held, and LaFerrari ended the day with an overall win.
But that’s not the end of the racing action. The SF90 steps up to kickstart an all-wheel-drive fight with the Bugatti Chiron. The two cars alone have nearly 2,500 hp combined, and both drivers get the same launch. Can Ferrari survive despite its huge power weakness? We will leave that result for the video to reveal.
