Volvo partnered with Snapdragon to use the visualization capabilities of the Unreal Engine. Built-in Google features such as Google Maps and other Google Play apps can be controlled from the 14.5-inch center display. In addition, the standard 5G connection provides a constant data flow for all the applications running on the screen, including music streaming services.
Also standard is phone key technology, which turns your smartphone into a car key. When you approach the car with your phone in your pocket, it will automatically unlock and load your personal profile with a preset seat, climate and other settings. The EX90 is also the first Volvo equipped with integrated headrest speakers as part of the Bowers & Wilkins audio system.
The new EX90 It is now available for pre-order at USA. Detailed pricing information is not available, but Volvo says a “well-equipped” model will cost less than $80,000. Pre-orders will transition to orders in the third quarter of 2023 with first deliveries expected in early 2024.
