There are many ways in which one can admire England, but I, as a staunch petrolhead I consider myself, I admire the country for its permissiveness when it comes to creating cars to suit the consumer. Irrefutable proof of this is the project that concerns us today, an apparent simple Volkswagen Caddy to the one that has been swapped with the five-cylinder engine of an Audi RS3 and who wants to break all the schemes.

The entire process has been carried out by the guys from Twin Engine Corsa who, by the name of the channel, it is easy to deduce that the five-cylinder Caddy is not his only project. Be that as it may, we are talking about a van that has lost its status as a delivery vehicle to become from “head to toe” an Audi RS3 with considerable cargo capacity.

Thus, we find a Volkswagen Caddy in which seats, dashboard, steering wheel, infotainment system and door panels are from the compact with the four rings. But logically, and as admirable as the level of detail in this project is, the crux of the matter is found in the tuning of the van.

To begin with, we find the 2.5-liter turbo five-cylinder as the undisputed protagonist, only, instead of producing 400 hp, now develops 750 CV from the hand of a larger turbo and electronic management. To this we must add an exhaust signed by Milltek designed to enhance the already catchy soundtrack of the five-cylinder, suspension, bass cleanup and the wheel arches of the RS3.
