The automotive industry is constantly changing, so it is not uncommon to see a vehicle undergoing tests to improve its technology or power. This is what happened with one test mule Lamborghini which was captured through a video spy testing a new power train. And it is that, the industry of supercars has changed since it was released Lamborghini Aventador in 2011.
At the time of its launch, the mid-engined supercar powered by a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine was one of the fastest and most powerful production cars on sale. By 2013, the industry changed with the release of the McLaren P1, Porsche 918 Spyder, and Ferrari LaFerrari, making the Aventador appear underpowered. Since then, supercars like the McLaren 765LT and the Ferrari 296 GTB with more power and performance than the Italian flagship, forcing the brand to prepare something special for its new flagship supercar.

The successor to the Aventador will be released next year as model 2024 And, as the automaker continues its development, a test mule was recently spotted near the automaker’s factory.
On first impressions, you might think it’s an Aventador, and while it has the body of one, it’s the next great Lamborghini. This can be seen, for example, in the stickers on the rear quarter panels and the engine cover confirm that the vehicle is electrified.
It also appears to be fitted with six tailpipes, but a closer look reveals that the two large tailpipes sticking out in the center are fake and the four higher up on the boot lid are genuine. This fits in with other models that have featured a similar exhaust arrangement.
Then again, there’s the engine cover, or lack thereof. Like the Bugatti Veyron and the ChironIt appears that Lambo has designed an open engine cover for the new flagship that allows you to see into the engine bay, which is expected to house a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 complemented by an electric motor.
It’s unclear how much power the new Lamborghini flagship will have. The manufacturer could choose to go after the SF90 Stradale, which means the new car would need close to 1000 hp, much more than the 760 hp flagship Aventador.
