MX: 58 people spend New Years in “El Torito” for drunk driving

On the night of December 31 and the early morning of January 1, 2023, a total of 58 people spent the night at the Center for Administrative Sanctions and Social Integration, popularly known as “El Torito”.

In total they were 54 men and 4 women who were detained at the checkpoints of the program Drive Without Alcohol.

From December 1 to 31, 2022, through the “Drive Without Alcohol” program, the New Year’s Eve operation, 391,731 AlcoStop tests and 13,635 breathalyzer tests have been carried out.
