Carlex Design is a tuning company known in large part for its non-traditional approach to redesigning luxury and luxury vehicles from various brands. One of the company’s model lines is dedicated and inspired by the yachting culture and now a new member has joined the ranks. Ladies and gentlemen, meet the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Yachting Edition, perhaps the most luxurious SUV we have ever seen.
The Cullinan follows a similar design recipe to the Land Rover Defender Yachting Edition launched two years ago with silver finishes for several body parts, including the fenders, doors and bumpers. The hood, radiator grille, roof, pillars and other small details, in turn, are finished in black. Carlex says the two colors are “a contrast, yet they match very well.” Large 22-inch five-spoke wheels with a special design complement the design changes on the outside.

If you’re struggling to get the yachting vibe from the exterior, the interior will likely put you in the right mood. The Cullinan’s cabin has been almost completely redesigned with body-hugging seats in the same silver color as the exterior. Silver accents can be found on the dashboard, door panels and center console, while contrasting orange leather covers the dashboard, pillars, armrests, steering wheel and more. With the help of wooden décor, Carlex says, “The Yachting Edition is sure to win over fans of luxury and the bright spirit of the sea.”
No changes have been reported to the engine under the hood but this is unexpected as Carlex Design – as the name suggests – is mostly focused on visual modifications. This means a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 in standard form, capable of producing 563 horsepower (420 kilowatts) and 627 pound-feet (850 Newton-meters) of torque. Power reaches all four wheels via permanent all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic gearbox sourced from ZF.
