The offer that SsangYong has prepared for its SUV includes two discounts: one involves meeting a condition and the other is, solely and exclusively, a promotion valid until the end of December. The first of them supposes a reduction of 1,000 euros, as long as we deliver a model of the same brand. The second will discount 1,700 euros, without any requirement. Adding both, the SsangYong Tivoli Grand goes from costing 21,900 euros (its original price) to being available for 19,200 euros.
What does the offer include?
The brand points out that this is a recommended price for the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands and that the offer for the SsangYong Tivoli Grand includes transport, VAT, Registration Tax (except in Andalusia, Asturias, Catalonia, Extremadura and Cantabria) as well as the promotional discount.
Note, at the same time, that the rate applicable to registration tax may vary depending on the autonomous community where the purchase takes place and invites those interested to inquire at the nearest dealer. There they will provide more information about the promotion, if there are financing conditions and, above all, the availability of the SsangYong Tivoli Grand.
An SUV with family airs
We could define the SsangYong Tivoli Grand as a family version of the SsangYong Tivoli. Not only for its measurements, but also for the load capacity of its trunk: Depending on the brand, it can reach 720 liters without the tray because with it it remains at 574 liters. An impressive figure considering that it is a compact size SUV. In addition, the backrest of the rear row can be adjusted by 32.5 degrees to save space and has a multitude of holes.
When it comes to moving, it is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine: develops 163 hp and 280 Nm of torque, since it is the manual version. It should be noted that this mechanic is not particularly brilliant in terms of performance and offers an official consumption, according to the WLTP Cycle, of 7.2 l/100 km.
As for equipment, the SsangYong Tivoli Grand that stars in the offer is the one with the Line finish: that of access to the range. It includes, among other elements, a multifunction steering wheel, an on-board computer, an automatic start and stop system, cruise control, ‘Flex Steer’ intelligent steering with three driving modes (Normal, Sport and Comfort) and the SASS System that has autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping, traffic sign recognition, forward vehicle warning, fatigue warning and safety distance alert.
It should be noted that the SsangYong Tivoli Grand is an alternative, practically unique. The most spacious compact SUVs do not reach those 574 liters (they stay around 400), they are usually less powerful and have somewhat more concise equipment. If we look at the models that are one step above, the C-SUVs, they exceed their price by several thousand euros and, in many cases, do not improve the proposal of the SsangYong Tivoli Grand.
