The latest from SEAT is not a car, but a more powerful urban scooter that has already broken two records

SEAT does not stop. And its line of MÓ mobility solutions and services continues to grow. In 2020, SEAT surprised us by presenting an electric scooter, the SEAT MÓ eScooter 125 model. And today we know that these days they will reveal a more powerful and sporty version of this urban vehicle.

SEAT announces that they will be present at the EICMA Motor Show in Milan with the new SEAT MÓ 125 Performance which, according to those from Martorell, will be “more powerful, dynamic and attractive”. They do not provide us with more information about its mechanics, nor about the improvements that have been introduced.

The SEAT MÓ 125 on which it is based reaches 95 km/h and enjoys a maximum autonomy of 125 kilometers, with a removable 5.5 kWh battery, weighing 40 kilograms and charging times around 6 -8 hours. Its acceleration from 0 to 50 km/h is 3.9 seconds.

SEAT also announced a few days ago that it had broken two Guinness World Records titles with the new SEAT MÓ 125 Performance in just 48 hoursof distance traveled by an electric motorcycle, precisely taking advantage of its capacity to extract and change batteries.

The first record, a pilot test with relays, in which five pilots took turns to travel 1,430.558 kilometers in 24 hours. The second record, a solo test in which the Italian journalist Valerio Boni traveled 1,158.72 kilometers in 24 hours. In the relay test, battery changes were made every 50 minutes. In the solo test, battery changes were made every hour and some breaks – according to SEAT on rare occasions – of 40 minutes.

Tomorrow we will clear up doubts and the SEAT MÓ 125 Performance will be presented at the EICMA in Milan. It will be then when we see it in all its splendor and, of course, we know more technical details.
