Now imagine 200 HP of power and other technical improvements, such as an electronic control unit, Bilstein shock absorbers, and a Quaife differential, so that this Peugeot 205 GTI is not only as attractive and fun as it was more than 30 years ago, but also a fast and sure.

The British company Tolman Engineering has proposed to carry out a restomod project of the Peugeot 205 GTI by which you can get a deep restoration and have a 205 GTI like new, equipped with many modern technical and comfort improvements.
In case you’re wondering, Tolman Engineering has enough donor units of the 205 to create not only right hand drive, but also left hand drive restorations for customers based outside of the UK. Tolman has created several restorations, starting with a 205 GTI 1.6 and continuing with a 1.9 for a client, with a new cylinder head and 200 horsepower. These restorations have allowed this British company to design a specific catalog to incorporate important improvements in future projects. Some of which we detail below:

A Peugeot 205 GTI not suitable for all budgets
According to Toman Engineering, this project has required 700 hours of work.
