Having a Hennessey Venom F5 in the garage is not easy: not only because there are only 24 units of this hypercar, but also because its price is three million dollars. The lucky pockets that can afford it, they now have the possibility of rounding off the purchase with a watch that Hennessey and Skeleton Concept have created specifically for them.

Based on a Rolex 4130, Some parts have been modified and some exceptional elements have been added. The watch has a fully transparent sapphire crystal case that allows the internal mechanism to be viewed from multiple angles.

More than a month

To give shape to this structure, they have to heat the aluminum oxide to melt it at more than 1,700 degrees to then carefully cool it until it forms a crystalline block. If the inspection considers that the result is impeccable, it is assembled on a five-axis lathe and is machined for more than a month without rest, that is, 24 hours a day. Finally, the resulting piece is carefully polished.

For the occasion, the bezel of the Rolex 4130 has been modified and is now made of carbon fiber: the same material used in the construction of the Hennessey Venom F5. On the side of the clock the settings wheels have been inspired by the cams that the hypercar has mounted on the steering wheel. It also has a sports strap in the same color as the model on which it is based and on the back, in addition to the chassis number of the owner’s vehicle, they have inscribed the following phrase: “The American dream never sleeps” .

A tribute to engineering

The watch also allows the user to measure speeds of up to 400 km/h and although it is a considerable figure, interestingly, the Hennessey Venom F5 can reach a declared maximum speed of 483 km/h. You can boast of this figure thanks to the 6.6-liter V8 biturbo that drives you: a block capable of developing 1,842 CV of maximum power and 1,617 Nm of maximum torque.
