Toyota made the debut of the new prius 2023but has not yet released pricing and on-sale date information for USA. Frontal
Starting with the front fascia, styling changes between the new Prius and its predecessor. The 2023 model features a more elegant design with spotlights C-shaped and two rows of grills. The previous generation Prius had vertical LED daytime running lights and an X-shaped lower fascia. The new Prius features a more muscular hood with lines that continue into the upper section of the fascia. The previous generation hybrid had a flatter hood with small curves that flowed into the fenders.
rear
The rear of both cars have a similar overall design, although small details make them look very different. The more fluid design of the newer model continues at the rear, where the window merges with the lights with a LED strip Coast to coast. Its predecessor had a similar feature, despite the fact that the shape of the lights was completely different. Also, the new prius it has a bulkier bumper with rounded edges which replace the boxy bumper shape of the previous Prius.
Profile
The side profile looks quite similar between the two vehicles. However, the new model’s more aerodynamic shape features a steeper windshield and roofline at the rear. The wheel arches are more muscular, now incorporating larger wheels and glossy black eyebrows that underline the change. Both the front and rear overhangs are shorter than before.
Inside
Like the outside, the 2023 Prius interior it’s new. The Japanese manufacturer moves the instrument cluster to place it behind the steering wheel, breaking the tradition of placing it in the center of the dashboard. There’s a new infotainment system with a larger screen, and the physical buttons for the HVAC system carry over to the new model. Overall, the updated cabin looks a bit more traditional and practical.
