Updated Porsche 911 GT3 spied during winter testing

There was recently a sighting of the Porsche 911 GT3 revamped touring and now, just a few days later, the standard version with a rear wing and some changes was caught.

The rear area gets the biggest revisions, but they’re hard to see because of the covers on the bumper. The license plate area is recessed into the body, the wings are thicker, and two tailpipes emerge from the middle.

On the sides the style is maintained, its wheels are black with widely spaced Y-shaped spokes and open portions near the hubs. The drilled brake rotors are easily visible behind them.

There is no data on the powertrain, but the current version offers a 4.0-liter six-cylinder engine of natural aspiration that generates 502 HP and 346 pound-feet of torque. In addition, you can choose between a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

For its part, the version of the engine of 4.0 liters from the new 911 GT3 RS is a bit more powerful with its 518 HP. Tunes include a single throttle intake system.

Porsche is preparing a refreshed look for the entire 911 lineup. The models that the updated Porsche 911 Carrera and Porsche 911 GT3 will not debut at the same time, but in a staggered manner.
