subaru just introduced his new impreza of sixth generation in the Los Angeles Auto Show. The firm will be removing its model 2024 the sedan variant and manual transmission, but bringing back the 2.5 RS model for the first time since 2005.
The new car has a lot in common with its Crosstrek companion. Its front fascia and overall design are reminiscent of the crossover with its hexagonal grille, decorative bar connecting the headlamps, and silhouette.
This Impurity is 10% stiffer than its predecessor and gets an improved symmetrical all-wheel drive system. In addition, it has a four-cylinder boxer engine.
In 2024 it will be two configurations available. The more powerful the engine 2.5 liter boxer, with RS plate. Back in the United States for the first time since 2005, the new model will make 182 hp and 178 ib-ft of torque.
The Impreza RS It features top-of-the-line performance and a larger engine, plus sport-tuned suspension, big brakes, 18″ gray alloy tires, black cloth seats, and 10-speaker Harman Kardon audio.

If you want performance at a lower price, the Subaru Impreza Sport 2024 combines sport suspension, big brakes and 18” alloy wheels with the standard 2.0L engine, capable of generating 152 HP and 145 torque. It will also boast several driving assists
For its part, the base Impreza will have functions Subaru Eyesight Driver Assistance System and Automatic Emergency Braking. It also features integrated rack mounting points to help owners haul more.
The Lineartronic CVT transmission it will be available for all options, as Subaru is phasing out the five-speed manual. However, the Sport and RS models will have “manual mode” eight-gear special so drivers feel in control.
Inside, Subaru will offer seats with more support and more storage space in the cabin. The rear seats will fold 60/40 split for flexible comfort.
It will also have 11.6” infotainment system upright compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, both of which are included on RS and Sport.
Security will be in charge of Starlink Safety and Security Connected Services. This adds emergency assistance, roadside assistance, a monthly vehicle health uniform, automatic emergency braking and more.
Subaru says the 2024 Impreza hits dealerships early next year. Prices will be announced later.
