The concessionaire that operates the tunnel notified that the measure will affect the road in the direction of Providencia. Being able to use as an alternative route El Salto Avenue or the Vespucio Oriente Highway.
The drill will be held for “review safety procedures and response times of rescue teams.”
This method will be effective when suffering real road accidents, determining the response time inside the tunnel of road safety operations.
“As alternative routes, users heading east along Autopista Vespucio Norte may opt for Av. El Salto or Autopista Vespucio Oriente (AVO)”, explained the company.
The road in the direction of Providencia of the San Cristóbal Tunnel was the protagonist of an emergency drill, which is usually done to determine if the rescue operations at the time of an accident should evaluate the lifeguard time inside the tunnel.
