Xpeng prepares for its European launch on February 3

Xpeng has high aspirations in Europe and it seems that the wait is about to come to an end. Firm announces plans to launch two new EVs on February 3.

Details will be revealed next week, but a new teaser image appears show off the G9 crossover and the P7 sedan. The latter offers a high-performance variable with a dual-motor all-wheel drive system, allowing accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.5 seconds and range of 470km in WLTP cycle.

For Norwegian customers will be offered a rear wheel drive model with up to 530km of range, but slower at 6.9 seconds to 62mph.

Xpeng announced plans to begin deliveries and services in key markets by the end of 2023. The first will open in Lørenskog, Norway, next month.

The next one will be in Badhoevedorp, the Netherlands. The doors of this center will open during the second quarter of this year. The facility will also serve as technical and personnel training, as well as a spare parts center in order to shorten delivery times for clients on the continent.

Other delivery and service centers will open in täket, Sweden and Hillerød, Denmark. Xpeng said it will offer the “Best possible customer experience, with a focus on pre-delivery inspections, post-sales, and repairs.”

This is the company’s first foray into Europe, as the firm noted that “Experience Stores” were opened last year in the aforementioned countries. these attracted more than 500,000 visitors and organized 4,500 test drives.
