The 2023 BMW XM officially began production to hit dealerships next spring. The assembly is carried out in Spartansburg, South Carolina.

The BMW XM debuted in September as the first M-specific vehicle since the BMW M1, with a power output of 644hp and a weight of more than three tons. It is the largest production Bimmer ever created and, in addition, it has electric propulsion.

The BMW plant in Spartanburg also houses the production of the SUVs. BMW X5, X6 and X7. In this factory, 257,876 total exports of the plant were made only in 2021.
