With the C-HR introduced in 2016, Toyota launched a bold design to contrast its conventionally styled vehicles. And as he reveals Toyota C-HR preview Today in the form of the Prologue concept, the second-generation model will once again adopt a striking appearance and a tri-color finish combining silver and black with contrasting orange accents. The overall look is inspired by recent models, such as the Crown and the prius.
The Aygo X Prologue didn’t change much for the later production version of the small city car, so expect the C-HR Prologue stay pretty much the same for the street model. The Japanese automaker says the sleek crossover has a Hammerhead front fascia with spotlights thinner and smaller grill openings. Also, it looks sharper than the current model and appears to have the tailgate handle located at the outer corner of the taillight.

Typically, the C-HR It has large wheels, which may be slightly smaller for the production version. Similarly, the pop-up door handles could change to a traditional configuration, while the side chambers will be replaced by conventional glass mirrors. To keep up with current design trends, Toyota is installing a led light bar at the rear where it also sports an unusually large fake diffuser.
Since this is just a conceptthe Japanese manufacturer refuses to go into details about the new C-HR. However, he does say that the overhangs are shorter and even more practical on the inside, which suggests that the wheelbase is a bit longer. Although the self-loading version remains, the Japanese are also planning a model plug-in hybrid with batteries assembled in Europe.
Like its predecessor, the C-HR revamped has been developed at ED², the manufacturer’s European design development headquarters in the south of France. There’s no release date yet, but the second-generation model is said to be a “vision of a car that will soon turn heads on the roads across Europe.”
