We close the year and we do so by remembering one of the most interesting products on the market, one of the leaders among the cars that achieve the ECO label with bifuel mechanics and perhaps the alternative improvement for those looking for a tremendously spacious car, on a tight budget and an excellent space-to-price ratio.
It is not an SUV. But, despite being a minivan, it enjoys crossover aesthetic features. Its trunk reaches 708 liters of capacity, figures hardly achievable in a car of less than €20,000. It has an ECO label on the entire range. It can be configured with 7 seats. And in 2023 it will be even more interesting and attractive, introducing hybrid mechanics.

The best budget family?
For €17,040 we can buy a Dacia Jogger, including all promotions and offers and with the requirement to finance the purchase at the dealer. If we prefer to pay it in cash, or request a loan under more favorable conditions in another financial institution, its price starts at €18,040.
For that price we took a Dacia that, as we said, has a 708-litre trunk, in a 5-seater configuration. As standard, it has climate control, headlights with LED technology, 16″ steel wheels with trims and no entertainment system screen (instead we have a mobile phone holder and a Bluetooth connection to control it from the steering wheel controls ).
Unless our budget is very comfortable, we would recommend choosing a higher version Expression, from €19,550 paying cash. This version already includes a rear parking sensor, which is always handy in a car of its size; 8” touch screen, electric rear windows and modular roof rail system.
One of the cheapest 7 seater
As we told you, the Dacia Jogger can be configured with 7 seats. In this case, the access version is the Expression and its starting price is already at €20,450 paying cash.
ECO label on the entire range
From the cheapest version, in 5 and 7 seats, the Dacia Jogger already has an ECO label. And it achieves this thanks to a bifuel ECO-G engine with 100 HP of power, which allows this car to run interchangeably with gas (LPG) or gasoline.
The best Dacia Jogger arrives in 2023
But this is only the beginning. In 2023, the best Dacia Jogger will arrive at dealerships which, in addition to having the ECO label, will be a hybrid. Dacia has already confirmed to us that it will be equipped with Renault’s non-plug-in gasoline hybrid system, with 140 HP of power (total, combined), and a 1.2 kWh battery with an 8-year or 160,000-kilometre warranty.
We don’t have prices yet. But we estimate that it will be around €24,000 which, as a reference, would be a price similar to that of the Toyota Corolla or a renault captur hybrid.
