Acura RDX 2023: Features
Inside, Acura is not as elegant as Genesis GV70 2022 either Volvo XC60 2022, although it comes standard with a similar level of technology and convenience features. The RDX’s practicality, pleasant road manners, and value-oriented price make it a good choice.
Acura RDX engine, transmission and performance
Every RDX is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and 272 hp that’s paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and front- or all-wheel drive (or “SH-AWD” in Acura-speak).
The RDX’s throttle responds at low speeds and pulls away from stoplights with enough power for most drivers. The transmission could be quicker to downshift, especially when the driver uses the steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
The turbocharged engine makes the RDX sound a bit like the NSX, with a high-pitched growl during hard acceleration, but much of that noise is manmade and carried into the cabin through the audio system’s speakers.

Inside, the center console is a bit busy, with lots of buttons, a touchpad, and a large rotary drive-mode selector located front and center.
The Acura provides a sportier experience than something like 2023 Honda CR-V could offer. Nothing feels cheap or vulgar, and the driving position is tall enough to satisfy SUV fanatics and supple enough to appease driving enthusiasts.

Every RDX has a 10.2-inch touch screen located high on the dash. It can also be operated via a touch panel in the center console.
Acura says the controller is intuitive, but it took us a while to get used to it. The RDX comes standard with wireless capability Apple Car Play Y Android Auto and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
