Alpine confirms that two electric vehicles will arrive after 2026

Alpine announced the expansion of its future electric vehicle lineup after 2026, with the addition of two new models to be inserted into the medium and large segment. In this way, they join the trio already confirmed.

The French company did not give details about the type of the new cars, but it is safe to assume that one of them will be an SUV. Both are expected to adopt the recently introduced Alpine Alpenglow Concept design. alpine seeks combine technology, luxury and sportiness to justify the premium positioning of the brand.

According to Autocar, the new electric vehicles will be based on a modified version of the CMF-EV platform. This architecture is compatible with dual electric blocks, offering AWD capability and Alpine will increase the power offered.

The EVs remain unnamed and will follow the debut of the A5 hot hatch, the GT-X Over high-rinding grand tourer and the electrical replacement A110, which gives the firm the possibility of competing in the range of so-called «Dream Garage Models».

Larger vehicles tend to be more popular in markets outside of the Old Continent, including the United States and China, where Alpine hopes to gain the 15% of your sales by 2030.
