BMW M3 CS 2024 debuts with more power and less weight

bmw has been building Clubsport models since the E9 era to denote the next thing to the CSL. After the previous M3 got the CS treatment in 2017, its successor follows in the footsteps.

Like the F80 model, this one is sold with an automatic transmission only, but with xDrive (its predecessor had RWD).

The “S58” engine was tuned to offer 534 HP and perfectly match the M4 CSL with rear wheel drive only. Not the most powerful BMW engine, as the ultra rare 3.0 CSL is stronger, with 553 hp. The 479 pound-feet peak torque has changed compared to him M3 Competition xDrive.

Inside there are Merino leather front seats with Mugello red accents, electric and heated. There are also door sills with “M3 CS” badging, an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel and the famous M colors for the seatbelts.

BMW announced limited units, although it did not say an exact number. Some specialized sources are encouraged to anticipate 1,000 for everyone. The price will be $118,700 and will go into production in March.
