When someone imagines a thief catalysts The first thing that comes to mind is a gang member or a low-income guy driving a average vehicle that does not attract attention.
However, an outlier was captured in Torrance, Calif., where the opposite of the low profile is observed. In a video released by the local Police Department, a man is seen group of men aboard a yellow Lamborghini Urus parking near a pickup truck. The purpose is to get a catalytic converter, an object much sought after in recent times by thugs.

The incident occurred on November 9, around 4:00 am, in the 3800 block of 184th Street. The images show four subjects, one of them acting as a lookout while the rest carried out the crime.

It is not the first time that a robbery of catalytic converter is recorded by cameras. Last year, a vehicle in a driveway was recorded while two suspects They removed a component. They had the audacity to steal it in broad daylight.
Earlier this month, the United States Department of Justice stopped a catalytic converter theft ring. The operation involved 21 people in five states.
