In the month of October, 15,624 motorcycles and mopeds were registered, for an increase of 4.1% compared to the same month last year.
Sales of motorcycles and scooters for the month were 14,318 units with an increase of 4.8% compared to October last year, while in the accumulated figure for the year compared to the year 2021, sales increased by 6.8% with 149,323 units sold.
Mopeds during the month of October increased their sales by 3.3% compared to the same period of the previous year, with 1,306 registered units and in the total accumulated for the year compared to last year they fell by 9.3% with 13,185 units.
Electric motorcycles, with 1,193 units sold, increased by 25.1% compared to October 2021.
Among the scooters, the great surprise was that the Honda ADV 350 Of the brand Sling is between the Top 10however it was also a surprise but not pleasant, that the Honda SH125i It won’t make it into the ranking.
The 10 motorcycles of more than 500 cc with the highest sales in the month of October, is led by Honda X ADV followed by the Yamaha XTZ 700 Ténéré.
Jose Maria Riano general secretary of ANESDOR said: «The data for the month of October show again the increasing interest of the user in the motorcycle not only as a means of transport to respond to their mobility needs, but also to enjoy leisure and motorcycle tourism. The scooters on the one hand, and the conventional motorcycle of more than 750 cc on the other, grow in a month that once again leaves the sector with positive data”.
