Dacia already has its first hybrid car. One of the most anticipated models of the brand, but also one of the great launches of this year, especially for what it contributes to the current offer of hybrid cars.
From now on, Dacia will have an economical hybrid, for what it offers, with a 708-litre boot, a 5- and 7-seater configuration and, of course, the much-prized ECO label. A new configuration that rescues the hybrid technology of its Renault brothers to offer a product that, without a doubt, represents a new milestone in the growth of Dacia.

Dacia’s cheap hybrid already has a price
Now It is possible to buy a Dacia Jogger from €16,939, with ECO label, by the hand of a LPG engine. Dacia has opted in recent years for bifuel configurations of which we were already talking about these days that, running interchangeably with gasoline or LPG, allow a very low cost per kilometer and enjoy the ECO label.
Dacia is now launching with its first hybrid, the Dacia Jogger Hybrid 140. A complete hybrid that uses Renault technology to deliver 140 hp of combined power and a consumption (according to WLTP) of 4.8 liters/100 kilometers. Its price, in a 5-seater configuration, will be €24,450. A price far removed from the cheapest Jogger, among other things because it is available from an intermediate equipment version (Expression), which. It already includes a rear parking sensor as standard, a Media Display entertainment system with an 8″ screen, electric rear windows and modular roof bars.
As a reference, with the same equipment, the Dacia Jogger Hybrid 140 is €4,900 more expensive than the 110-hp TCE and the 100-hp ECO-G, the latter also enjoying the ECO label.

What hybrid alternatives are on the market?
on the basis that the Dacia Jogger Hybrid 140 is €4,900 more expensive than its equivalent, with the same equipment, with an ECO-G engine and an ECO label, the presence of a hybrid version in the Dacia Jogger range is not justified as an economic solution to have the ECO label. But it is an interesting proposal for those looking for a hybrid car that offers a lot of space at a reasonable price. Especially if we stick to its alternatives:
- The Toyota Corolla is available from €24,650being a compact, smaller and with a much smaller cargo space
- The Renault Captur is available from €24,789using the same technology as the Dacia Jogger Hybrid 140, and being an SUV, but with a much smaller cargo space and, of course, without the possibility of a 7-seater configuration
- The Hyundai Ioniq hybrid part of the 23,685 but, again, it is a car that in space is very far from the Dacia Jogger
- The Suzuki Swace is available from €25,982 and it is a car that, due to its family body derived from compact, offers a large trunk, but it is still not as spacious and practical as that of the Dacia Jogger
