The fourth generation of Mazda MX-5 It’s been around since 2014, but despite minor updates over the years, it hasn’t lost its charm. Now, Mazda UK (UK) announced some updates to the MX-5 by 2023including a new naming scheme for the studs and the addition of sand Zircon to the color palette.

The range 2023 of the dear two door sports car includes now ten different variants in three versions, two engine options and two body styles: the Roadster soft top that dropped the Convertible name and the Retractable Fastback (RF) hardtop.

First, the Prime Line entry-level is available with the smaller 1.5-liter engine than produces 130 hp (97 kW / 132 PS). The bodywork includes a set of 16-inch black-painted alloy wheels, piano black mirrors and heated seats upholstered in black cloth with silver stitching. In addition, it has six-speaker audio, air conditioning and the Kinematic Posture Control system (KPC) standard on all MX-5.

Meanwhile, the Exclusive Line adds perforated black leather upholstery, 16-inch bright-finish alloy wheels, body-color mirrors, spotlights automatic, automatic windshield wipers and various ADAS.

The Exclusive Line It also has a 2.0 liter engine that generates 181 hp (135 kW / 184 PS) which, in a manual version, comes standard with a limited-slip differential, a front tie rod, Bilstein shock absorbers and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Finally, the Homure The top-of-the-line is available with the most powerful engine and is distinguished by its 17-inch BBS Gun Metallic alloy wheels, stainless steel skid plates with the logo MX-5Brembo calipers (manual) and higher quality perforated light stone Nappa leather upholstery inside the cabin.

Prices of the new Mazda MX-5

According to the official configurator, the price of the MX-5 2023 is between £25,800 and £32,460 ($29,152 and $36,677) for the Roadster, and between £27,700 and £34,560 (US$31,292 and US$39,040) for the RF. Orders can now be placed, with the first deliveries scheduled for March 2023. Mazda it has sold over 24,000 units of the MX-5 ND in the UK since its launch in 2015.
