According to official reports, at less than 600 people are served daily in the Public Vehicle Registry (Repuve)in the module in charge of the Municipality.

The mayor indicated that there is a joint work with the state governor Américo Villarreal Anaya expanding the state module up to five lanes.
With that Nuevo Laredo becomes one of the municipalities with more than 20 lanes for the process of nationalization of cars. On December 31, the decree for the regularization of cars of foreign origin ends.
